Racing Club
Join the Joe Tickle Racing Club and follow the journey as a member-owner.
We set up the Joe Tickle Racing Club because we want as many people as possible to experience the thrill of watching our horses run. Racehorse ownership can feel like a closed shop, so we've kept membership simple and the cost as accessible and affordable as we can, giving you a straightforward way to follow the string as a member owner.
£50 a month or £500 a year. Cancel anytime.

The Racing Club Silks
What Membership Gets You
Raceday Badge Ballot
Every time one of the club horses runs, members go into a ballot for raceday badges.
Direct Updates from Joe
Regular updates straight from Joe on how the club horses are progressing.
Organised Yard Visits
Organised visits to the yard to see all the horses in training, not just the club's.
Member Events
Two bigger events each year, including a summer BBQ, to bring the club together.
Prize Money Raffle
Every time one of the club horses wins, members are entered into a raffle for a chance to win a portion of the prize money, rather than splitting it into small shares across the club.
Horses in the Club
Three horses currently race in the club's silks, and we're always looking to add to and evolve the horses to keep the club competitive: top-quality race days for every member and plenty of excitement along the way.

Moonhall Lass
Bay filly, 4, by Dandy Man
The club's newest recruit, and she arrives flying. She has won three times already this season, at Yarmouth, Salisbury and Leicester, with a third at Chepstow and a fourth at Doncaster where she was beaten just half a length. Best of all, she has qualified for the £40,000 mile series final at Chepstow, and that is the big day we are aiming her at together.

The Padster
Bay gelding, 5, by Rio De La Plata
Ours from the very start: all seven of his career runs have been in the club's silks. He is improving with every one of them, second at Hereford in May and a career-best fourth at Worcester in July, beaten only two and a half lengths. He goes hurdling this winter off a mark of 86, and that first win is the story he is building towards.

Clemco's Revenge
Bay mare, 7, by Sir Percy
The club's own mare, registered to the Joe Tickle Racing Club itself, and a daughter of Derby winner Sir Percy. She stayed on strongly on her only start to date, in a Chepstow bumper, and has been given plenty of time to strengthen since. A winter campaign is the plan, and her story is all ahead of her. It belongs to the members.

Questions People Ask
How does the raceday badge ballot work?
+
Every time one of the club horses is declared to run, members go into a ballot for the raceday badges available for that race. Winners get to be there as an owner for the day: paddock, connections' areas, the lot. The more often the horses run, the more chances you get.
How often are yard visits, and can I bring someone?
+
We organise group visits to the yard so members can see all the horses in training, not just the club's, plus two bigger get-togethers each year including the summer BBQ. Numbers and guests vary by event, so if you'd like to bring a partner or the kids, just ask Joe on WhatsApp and he'll sort what's possible.
What happens after I join?
+
Your payment is handled securely by Stripe, and Joe will send you a welcome message within 48 hours with everything you need to know. After that you'll get updates from Joe whenever there's news on the club horses: entries, plans, gallops reports and racedays.
Is there a minimum term? How do I cancel?
+
No minimum term on the monthly plan: you can cancel anytime from your Stripe customer portal and you won't be charged again after the current month. The annual plan covers 12 months upfront and simply won't renew if you cancel. If you join online you may also have a 14-day cooling-off right, and the full details are in the Terms & Conditions.
Can I give membership as a gift?
+
A racing club membership makes a lovely present. It isn't automated through the website yet, so message Joe on WhatsApp and he'll set it up for you.
